Basics of Bossing Up

One thing that is helping me get through this unprecedented time is my routine. Though I am now working from home and the only place I can go is the grocery store, I am doing my best to do what I have always done and that has helped keep me sane. I hope you enjoy my post this week and find some resources that inspire you and bring you joy.

Inspiration-Ally Love

I found Ally Love through Peloton, but she is an inspiration both on and off the bike. Ally is the founder and CEO of the fame empowerment collective Love Squad, the host of the Brooklyn Nets, Adidas global ambassador, and model. Ally also does the “Basics of Bossing Up” that you can find in her Instagram stories. In the Basics of Bossing Up, she discusses the basic principles people need in order to create the lives they want. Topics she discusses include: Frustration, Not Feeling Good Enough, Being Bold, and Back to the Basics. These are quick 5–7 minutes videos you can find on Instagram for free. Ally is a biracial woman who is passionate about helping people reach their potential and is building her influence through the multiple platforms you can find her on.

You can find Ally Love on Instagram at Allymisslove and I highly recommend this article

Meghan Markle Update- Goodbye to Instagram/Inspiring Article

It is difficult time for everyone, but if you are a fan of Meghan Markle it is an especially hard week with the end of the Sussex Royal Instagram and the Royally Obsessed podcast. Royally Obsessed was one of my favorite podcasts about the Royals, particularly their coverage of Meghan Markle. Last week, they abruptly announced on their podcast that this Thursday, April 2nd, is their last podcast, the same week as the last post from the Sussex Royal website and Instagram. Is this a coincidence? Whatever the reason, I will miss the podcast and Instagram, but hopefully both will return in the upcoming months in new formats. Final Thoughts-Next 90 Days

I know I said this last week as well, but this is not ad for the Hollis Company. However, I am grateful that they have decided to launch a free 90 day challenge to inspire and bring joy to others during this time of unease and uncertainty. Some of the themes they will discuss are perspective, joy, and how to thrive despite what is going on in society. This is something I am using to keep myself motivated and knowing that there is a community out there going through this program with me brings me comfort and a sense of togetherness, despite the physical isolation many of us are experiencing.

Stay safe and healthy!

XOXO,

Nadine
